Happy April Fool's Day! [April 1st, 2009]

...So you were really thinking of buying this "Middle-Finger Gloves" set?

...Come on! Don't deny it! ...Smile! There is no such thing as "Middle-Finger Gloves" or brand "AFD Paintball", but aren't these paintball gloves cool? Seriously, if they actually made them, I would buy them, and am sure lots of peole too. Who knows, pass this around, maybe someone comes in and makes them for sale!

Of course, anyone can just buy a full-fingered paintball glove set and cut out all finger of the glove except for the middle finger - but it would look cheesy and would not last lnog before the threads are coming off. By the way, this image here was created in photoshop, and tons of hours went to this (read further below for more info).

This page is set to not be indexed by search engines, so that the only way to get here, is if you first went to the post in our site, where the prank was posted on April 1st of 2009. ...Unless, you followed a link directly here, from a forum, an email from a friend or other site, from a link posted by someone that had already been here and tought to share it.

It's OK, we don't know who you are, this is just a static page, so technically, nobody saw you getting here. LOL.

More info about the preparation:

The name: "AFD Paintball" is a fictitious name. There is no such paintball manufacturer (at least not that anyone know of at the time of this post). The letters "AFD" were actually meant to stand for "April Fool's Day" = April Fool's Day Paintball Gloves.

The image: This image is a result of hours of work in photoshop, where all shapes and patterns were actually created pretty much pixel by pixel, working most often while "zoomed in to 1600% - carefully drawing and painting each part to making it look real at regular view. In order to do this, work on this image started being created months before the day it was planned to be posted here, and being the opening image for the new website, PaintballCatalog.net

The idea is that you and all others enjoy it, and hopefully get a least a smile out of you, not anything else. We love paintball and support all paintball manufacturers and thank them for making this sport so great, year after year. And of course, you, the paintball player - what would the sport be without you.
